Hipp Organic Competition

Regular visitors to my blog will know that we have been weaning baby girl for a few months now. One of our favourite brands is Hipp Organic, which we have reviewed before and we were lucky enough recently to be sent some more of their fantastic products to try.

Hipp recently launched 13 new organic baby food pouches, some of which we had already tried, and some were new to us, such as Banana, Apple and Apricot with Yoghurt and Peach, Mango and Banana with Yoghurt. These combinations are great as they offer a good variety of fruit and a portion of dairy to go towards babies daily requirements. They are really versatile too, we’ve been using these both for breakfast and for desserts.

When first starting out with weaning, Hipp’s Apples and Baby Rice and Bananas and Baby Rice are also ideal and tasty combinations to try too as they offer a simple first taste for little ones with one good portion of fruit to count towards their five a day.

Baby girl really loves her food and from word go she loved the likes of parsnip, butternut squash, sweet potato and broccoli so some of the new flavours were perfect!

She devoured the Parsnip, Sweet Potato and Broccoli pouch, and really enjoyed the Sweet Potato, Cauliflower and Sweetcorn Bake and Sweet Squash, Sweetcorn and Peas too.

With baby girl loving her food so much I have enjoyed giving her quite diverse foods to try, it’s been a pleasure actually as toddler girl has been so, so picky for many months now! I was really looking forward to trying Hipp’s Vegetable and Chicken Risotto and their Mild Tomato and Chicken Curry and sure enough she loved both of them and couldn’t get enough! What’s great too is that they’re both a natural source of Omega 3, which is important for brain, nerve and eye development.

Hipp Organic use only the finest organic ingredients and steam cook their products to lock in nutrients and flavour. There’s no hidden nasties and all you need to do is pop a pouch in your bag and go, they’re great for us busy mums who are conscious of offering our children a balanced diet.

Hipp not only provide wholesome, tasty baby food, but they also offer a lot of weaning support and guidance for parents and the Hipp baby club is a great place to find out more information about weaning and to get the views of other parents and professionals. It’s members recently took part in a survey and provided some of their top weaning tips & experiences. It’s interesting just how many I can agree with!

I too started my weaning on a Monday and started with carrot and banana and I certainly embrace the mess! My mum and sister hate it! lol! I have to confess I wouldn’t use the word exciting for my feelings towards weaning as I’m not the best cook and can get stuck in a rut with foods but, for me, that’s where brands like Hipp Organic can be such a help!

How much do you agree with or were your experiences different? I’d love to hear your views.

Hipp have very kindly offered to give one of my lucky readers a hamper off Hipp goodies worth £25. All you have to do is follow the steps in the rafflecopter below.
